Stepping up to do his part.

Robert Burch

Republican for House District 25

Robert Burch, married to wife Nancy for 38 years, grew up working on farms and ranches. He earned his degree from Dallas Baptist University and recently retired from a career spanning 31 years in the transportation industry; where, starting as a driver, he progressed into sales and operations management.

His blue collar background allows him to instinctively understand our values, (there’s a reason the trucking industry championed the rights of the individual during the COVID insanity) and, now, just retired, he’s free to work full time for us and a return to Christian, Constitutionalist, and conservative values.

As the Chairman of the Pontotoc County GOP, Burch has seen firsthand how most "Republican" legislators are regularly betraying our values.

A recent comprehensive audit of the Legislature’s votes, conducted by the Vice-Chairman of the Oklahoma Republican Party, demonstrated just how bad this problem has become. It compared the votes to the principles in the Republican Party Platform and found that many, including our state representative Ronny Johns, are frequently voting against the principles that we hold most valued.

Johns received a score of just 29.57 percent. In some cases, even Democrats are voting more in accordance with the Republican platform than Johns.

Our nation is under attack from all sides, and we can't allow these politicians to keep playing their deceptive games of purporting to support our values when campaigning only to betray them after the election.

We have to step up and save the greatest republic in the history of the world, before it's too late.

For Robert Burch his call to step up and do his part for our state and nation came on March 12 when our six-year incumbent, Ronny Johns, voted against HB 3071.

HB 3071 is the important bill that prevents our taxpayer funds from being used to benefit the illegal alien invaders who are destroying our nation.

Johns was one of just three liberal Republicans who joined with the Democrats to oppose the bill.

Burch tried to call Johns, but Johns didn't return Burch's call, even though Burch is the Chairman of the Pontotoc County GOP.

If Johns won't even return the call of his party's Chairman, then he certainly won't likely take the time to be held accountable to the conservative voters who make up this district.

Now, Robert Burch is ready to do his part by challenging Johns. Will you join him? He needs your vote on June 18.

The Robert Burch Platform

The Issues

Stop the Invasion of Our Nation

Our nation is under invasion! And worse, weak politicians are allowing this invasion to occur. Our six-year incumbent, Ronny Johns, on March 12, joined with the Democrats and voted against a bill that would have cut off taxpayer funds to the illegal alien invaders of our nation. Unlike Johns, Robert Burch will never go weak on the illegal invaders of our nation.

Instill Election Integrity

The voting regulations that permit unrestricted absentee mail-in voting are susceptible to ballot harvesting. They entice the left-wing political machines in Oklahoma County to attempt ballot-harvest-style manipulation of our elections, and this risk, if left unchecked, could grow to overwhelm the votes of those of us in rural Oklahoma.

Defend Life and Liberty

Robert Burch will uphold the sanctity of life, defend the 2nd Amendment, and aggressively oppose Joe Biden’s police state.

Robert Burch's Plan to Abstain from Lobbyist Influence

Robert Burch will reject all contributions and personal gifts from lobbyists and their employers.

This sets Robert apart from many of the other "Republican" candidates who have sought state office, then take this money and subsequently betray our values.

Protect Our Traditional American Values

Oppose all Woke and DEI Incursions

We must always fight to ensure our children's educational environments are kept free from inappropriate content, and we must protect them from emerging woke ideologies.

Every Road a Toll Road?

Alfalfa Bill at the bridge
In 1932, Oklahoma Governor Alfalfa Bill Murray, also known as "The Sage of Tishomingo," declared martial law, deployed the National Guard, and defied a federal judge's order. Murray successfully fought to keep a toll-free bridge open between Oklahoma and Texas. Murray, a constitutional scholar, referred to the Constitution in defending his actions. Today, weak Oklahoma politicians, including Ronny Johns, have advanced legislation that uses Biden Administration money on implementing the plan that has one clear outcome: converting every Oklahoma road into a toll road. Robert Burch wants to return to the era when strong Oklahoma leaders defended the common man against the elitist overreach of the federal government and its ever-encroaching surveillance state.

How the tyranny of a single state representative prevented the entire Legislature from erasing a grave error, an error that might have drastic consequences for all of us.

In 2021, Ronny Johns and the Legislature approved the first phase of the plan to make every Oklahoma road into a toll road.

The plan, funded with money from the Biden administration, created a pilot program known as the road user fee, or track and tax. It requires the government to monitor every mile driven by plan participants and to send them a bill for each mile driven.

This Orwellian plan has many possible abuses, most notably, allowing future governments to charge us according to a variable rate.

If you're driving a car that's "not good for the environment," or if you drive too many miles per month, then your rate might just go way up.

This is the radical environmentalists' dream policy and it will punish rural Oklahomans who must drive to survive.

Or, perhaps the FBI or ATF wants to target you under Red Flag laws; the data generated by your toll tax will provide the perfect fishing opportunity for generating probable cause to take away your 2nd Amendment Rights.

Or, perhaps you make the mistake of attending church during the next national health emergency shutdown.

The government will know about that too. The potential abuses are endless.

There are two more phases before this plan can fully take hold. Phase 2, the "voluntary participation" phase, appears set for a vote in 2025, after this election when Johns can again vote for the program without fear of an impending election; and Phase 3, mandatory participation, which we are already seeing being considered in Oregon, a state that, like Oklahoma, started with a pilot program like the one Ronny Johns supported.

In 2024, upon realizing that the proponents of the "every road a toll road plan" were waiting until after the election for their next move, a courageous legislator from another part of the state decided that we shouldn't just sit around waiting for the next attack.

Instead, he sponsored a bill to go on the offense and to repeal the laws that authorized the plan in the first place.

He figured this would give the Legislature the ability to, before the election, send a message: "The Biden Administration's Track and Tax Plan Won't Come to Oklahoma."

There was just one problem: His repealer bill was assigned to a committee chaired by our State Representative Ronny Johns, a known supporter of the track and tax pilot plan.

And, just as feared, Ronny Johns refused to let the committee vote on the bill.

What was Johns afraid of?

Why not allow a vote?

When Johns prevented a vote on the repealer, he showed where his true loyalties lie, and he alone was responsible for killing the bill that would have declared an end to track and tax in Oklahoma.

The vote on June 18th is a referendum on track and tax.

By voting for Robert Burch and by defeating the legislator who single-handedly killed the repealer without a vote, we will send a message: Keep big, Orwellian government surveillance and radical environmentalism out of Oklahoma!
